Catherina graduated from the Bergen Community College Veterinary Technology program in August 2019. In addition to a veterinary technology degree, she also has earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from SUNY Purchase. Over the last 13 years, Catherina has worked in many small animal facilities as a receptionist and assistant. She began working at Valley Cottage Animal Hospital in 2016. Growing up in a multi-pet household contributed to her motivation to further pursue a career in veterinary medicine. Catherina takes pride in being the “Chihuahua whisperer”, as she has raised them for most of her life. Her current pet count is at 7! Including dogs, cats, birds, turtles - safe to say she hands her hands full!
