Since 1980, Valley Cottage Animal Hospital has provided high-quality medical and emergency care for pets in the Valley Cottage area. Fast, comprehensive emergency care; wellness care for dogs, cats, birds and exotic pets, and advanced veterinary technology are available for pets in White Plains, Rockland County, Nyack, Putnam, Orangeburg, Haverstraw, Palisades Center, New City, Nanuet and the surrounding area.
We offer state-of-the-art veterinary medical care in a caring and supportive environment. Like we mentioned, ALL pets are treated at Valley Cottage Animal Hospital, from dogs and cats to birds, rabbits, pocket pets, snakes and others. Our practice has grown rapidly since Dr. Russ Petro first opened the hospital’s doors four decades ago, but our commitment to our clients and their pets has never wavered.

Harmony Pet Wellness Center
In addition to our main hospital, we have the Harmony Pet Wellness Center, located in the building adjacent to our hospital within our parking lot. Designed with your pet’s comfort in mind, this dedicated space provides a calm, serene environment aimed at reducing stress and anxiety during veterinary visits.
At the Harmony Pet Wellness Center, we offer wellness care, annual examinations, acupuncture services, and our specialized dental suite. For pets who feel nervous or anxious in a traditional hospital setting, this peaceful environment can help make their visit more comfortable and reassuring.
