Dr. Caitriona McIntyre may look familiar—she’s been shadowing and assisting on and off at VCAH since 2017 and is excited to now be re-joining the team as a doctor! She was born and raised in Bergen County, New Jersey, before leaving to study Animal Science at Delaware Valley University, where she graduated as valedictorian of the Class of 2019. She was then awarded her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2023 from Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. McIntyre’s professional interests include canine and feline soft tissue surgery, wildlife and exotic pet medicine, nutrition, feline renal and urinary tract health, and palliative care for chronic conditions. She is looking forward to providing high quality care to your beloved pets.

Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. McIntyre enjoys baking, knitting, and spending time with her family, including her dog, Rosie, and her cat, Toby.
