As a graduate from Rutgers University, Jen worked several years in research at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center before pursuing her dream to work full time caring for animals. She then became licensed as a Veterinary Technician after graduating from the Veterinary Technology Program at Bergen Community College.

Since then, she worked briefly doing canine physical therapy and then 10 years here at Valley Cottage Animal Hospital as a licensed veterinary technician. She is fortunate enough to love her job and teaches her skills to future students as an adjunct professor at Bergen Community College.

In her free time, she loves running, snowboarding, the beach, and spending time with her husband and 2 daughters. She has 2 gray cats, Lillie and Halo, and a Golden Retriever, Seamus.
