Dr. Downing has been a general practitioner and emergency veterinarian at the Valley Cottage Animal Hospital since 2005. Dr. Jessica Downing grew up in upstate New York. She completed her veterinary education at the New York State Veterinary College at Cornell University. She has received her certification as a veterinary acupuncturist from the Chi Institute in Florida. Dr. Downing’s professional interests include emergency medicine, nutrition, working with sporting dogs and palliative care for senior patients and those with chronic medical conditions. Dr. Downing enjoys the sport of agility with her Border Terrier, Reba.
