Melissa has been a Valley Cottage Animal Hospital team member as a Licensed Veterinary Technician since 2003. She graduated in 2002 from Mercy College with a Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Technology an a Certificate in Animal Assisted Therapy. She loves the fast-paced environment of Emergency Medicine and also enjoys working with exotics. In her downtime, Melissa spends time at home with her family, English Springer Spaniel Mongo, Rottweiler mix Finnegan and Bearded Dragon Fyre. She also enjoys travelling, exploring the outdoors, kayaking, attending concerts, sporting events and tailgating.
