Sara graduated from Westchester Community College with her A.A.S. in Veterinary Technology and joined VCAH in 2019 after successfully passing her Veterinary Technician National Exam.  Her interest in the animal world and love for animals started when she would watch animal patrol shows on the Animal Planet channel displaying the horrible care and wellbeing of the animals. Since those early days she decided to pursue a career to aid animals. Now, after only being in the field for a short period of time, Sara has been eager to improve the skills she already has, in addition to learning techniques from her seasoned, experienced peers. Her home pets include cats Lucky, Chanel, and Jerry along with dogs Hero, Jasper, and Stitch. Sara also enjoys exotic wildlife cats and hopes to have some exposure to rescuing and releasing these animals in the future.
